Configure Notifications

Enable notifications under Account -> Monitoring Notifications by setting up an email address.

Types of notifications

Via the email address, you will receive important account notifications like subscription information. You will also receive monitoring alerts if you have set up monitoring under the monitoring tab.

Out-of-band notifications

Receiving alert emails about a malfunctioning email server might sound counter-intuitive. If your use an address for alerts that points to your mail server, and it is down, these alerts will sit in your queue.

That's why we recommend an out-of-band email address. This can either be a hosted email address, or you can use a service such as Pushover which offers a mail gateway. Any mail sent to this mail gateway will trigger an alert on your phone.
